The Bosch Rexroth ZDC6XP-1X/8M-287 (0811401201) is a high-quality sandwich plate valve designed to provide precise flow control in hydraulic systems. This direct operated supply pressure compensator is engineered to integrate seamlessly with proportional directional valves, ensuring consistent pressure differential across the throttle valve regardless of load changes. The ZDC6XP-1X/8M-287 features a robust design with porting patterns that conform to DIN 24340 form A, facilitating easy installation and compatibility with standard systems. This model comes equipped with a shuttle valve for load compensation in either channel P → A or P → B, which allows for efficient operation in two directions. The pressure compensator spring within the unit is adjustable, allowing for a pressure differential range between 8 and 25 bar, which can be tailored to specific application requirements. Additionally, the valve's ability to maintain constant Δp at the measuring throttle enhances system stability and performance. When used in conjunction with a proportional directional valve, the ZDC6XP-1X/8M-287 acts as an electrical flow control valve that adjusts flow rates accurately, even under varying load pressures. Its design also accounts for potential pulling loads during mass deceleration by recommending the use of counterholding valves to prevent system instability. Overall, this Bosch valve exemplifies precision engineering for hydraulic control applications where reliable and consistent flow regulation is essential. Its direct operation and compatibility features make it a versatile component suitable for various hydraulic circuits requiring fine-tuned flow control.
Valves of type ZDC are direct operated supply pressure compensators in 2-way version.
As with all throttle cross-sections, the flow of proportional throttle valves and directional valves depends on the pressure differential Δp.
The effect of a load-compensated, electrical flow control valve results from the combination of throttle valve (measuring throttle) and pressure compensator which keeps the pressure differential Δp at the measurement throttle constant. The pressure differential is determined by the pressure compensator spring and depending on the selected design, it ranges between 8 and 25 bar.
The combination of a proportional directional valve with a pressure compensator results in the effect of a flow control valve for 2 directions. The changing load pressure is to be scanned via a shuttle valve. If pulling loads result during deceleration of mass, counterholding valves are to be provided.
