The valve amplifier electronics are available in different designs. The “NO” (normally open) symbol can only be used as 2-way flow control valve (type 2FREX). The “NC” (normally closed” symbol can be used as 3-way or 2-way flow control valve. Due to the valve housing, the residual flow in the 3-way version is guided via port P. For the 2-way version, the following is true: A to B (P and T are closed).
