The Bosch Rexroth SEGMT.LINEAR BUSH. KBSE-20-NR (R066802030) is a high-quality segmental linear bushing designed to meet the demands of various applications requiring precise linear movement. This closed-type bushing is notable for its corrosion-resistant construction, making it suitable for use in environments where medical, chemical, and food industry standards are a priority. The KBSE-20-NR features a shaft diameter of 20 mm and is constructed without seals, although separate wiper seals can be optionally added. Crafted with durability in mind, the bushing's segmental load-bearing plates, balls, ball retainer, and retaining rings are made from stainless steel and polyamide (PA) respectively. These materials ensure reduced friction and enhance the product's longevity. The dynamic load capacities of this model are significant, ensuring reliable performance over a total travel distance of 100 km; these capacities can be adjusted based on different travel distances as specified by the manufacturer. The KBSE-20-NR operates efficiently with a minimum friction coefficient of 0.01 under lubricated conditions and can withstand maximum accelerations as well as high linear speeds while maintaining stability and precision. It is engineered to function within a wide range of ambient temperatures from -30°C to +80°C without compromising its performance. With multiple rows of balls in its design, this linear bushing offers smooth motion and even load distribution across the bearing surface. Its outer diameter measures precisely to ensure a proper fit in corresponding housing or equipment. Furthermore, it boasts impressive static and dynamic load capacities while maintaining low breakaway forces for ease of movement at startup. The compact weight of this unit facilitates easy integration into various systems without adding excessive bulk or strain on surrounding components. It also provides options for radial clearance adjustment to accommodate different shaft tolerances, ensuring versatility across applications. Overall, the Bosch Rexroth SEGMT.LINEAR BUSH. KBSE-20-NR offers robust performance characteristics suitable for demanding linear motion tasks where precision and corrosion resistance are paramount.

Effect of load direction on load rating

The listed load ratings should be chosen depending on installation in minimum or maximum position and should be based on the calculations. If the load direction is clearly defined and the Linear Bushings can be installed in maximum position, the load ratings Cmax. (dynamic load rating) and C0 max (static load rating) can be used. If aligned installation is not possible or the load direction is not defined, the minimum load ratings must be used.

Reduced load capacity with short stroke

In case of a short stroke, the service life of the shaft is less than that of the segmental Linear Bushing. The load ratings C specified in the tables must therefore be multiplied by the factor f.s .

Selection guide for operation under difficult conditions

For constantly humid or damp conditions caused, for instance, by water-based coolants/lubricants, we recommend the stainless steel Linear Bushing with parts made of steel in accordance with ISO 683-17 / EN 10088.

Life expectancy calculation

Installation

Install the segmental Linear Bushings using an arbor press (see General Installation Instructions). In order to prevent contamination in the segmental Linear Bushing, we recommend making sure that a segmental load bearing plate is covered by the slot when installing in slotted receivers.
