The Bosch Rexroth Z2S6-2-6X (R900347496) is a high-performance industrial hydraulic valve designed for reliable and efficient control of fluid flow within hydraulic systems. This direct-actuated seat valve is mechanically actuated, ensuring precise operation and robust performance. The Z2S6-2-6X model offers a cracking pressure that allows for the controlled release of flow, while its spool symbol A A, B B configuration facilitates the free flow in one direction and blocks it in the opposite, making it ideal for applications where leakage-free blocking is crucial. The valve features a maximum pressure capability that ensures it can handle rigorous industrial applications. It comes with a standard number of ports and is designed for mechanical actuation, which contributes to its reliability. The specified size of the valve aligns with industry standards, allowing for seamless integration into existing systems. With its maximum flow capacity, this valve can accommodate substantial fluid throughput without sacrificing performance. Connection-wise, the Z2S6-2-6X utilizes a sandwich plate design compatible with both NFPA T3.5.1 R2 D03 Size and CETOP D03 interfaces as well as ISO standardized connections, ensuring versatility and ease of installation across various systems. It has defined switching positions and comes with an exact weight specification. Seals made from NBR provide durability and compatibility with a range of hydraulic fluids such as HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HVLPD, and HFC types. Additional features like preopening prevent switching shocks by dampening decompression of pressurized liquid—a critical factor in prolonging component life and reducing noise during operation. This Bosch Rexroth isolator valve type ZS is an essential component for any setup requiring secure blocking during longer standstill times or precise control over actuator ports; it's suitable for vertical stacking arrangements thanks to its sandwich plate design. Optional features such as various cracking pressures and preopening are available according to specific ordering codes. Special versions can be requested to meet unique system requirements or operational demands.

The isolator valve type Z2S is a releasable check valve in sandwich plate design.
It is used for the leakage-free blocking of one or two actuator ports, also in case of longer standstill times.
In direction A① to A② or B① to B②, there is a free flow; in the opposite direction, the flow is blocked.
If, for example, there is a flow through the valve in direction A① to A②, the control spool (1) is moved in the direction of the B side, opens the ball seat valve (2) and then pushes the poppet (3) off its seat. Hydraulic fluid can now flow from B➁ to B➀.
In order to allow the ball seat valve (2) to be safely closed, the control spool (1) must be hydraulically unloaded (see circuit example).
Pre-opening
Due to the pre-opening, there is a damped decompression of the pressurized liquid. Thus, possible switching shocks are avoided. The two-stage set-up with an increased control open ratio means even low pilot pressure can be unloaded securely.
Notice:
In valves without pre-opening, sudden unloading of pent-up pressure volume may occur. Resulting switching shocks may lead to premature wear on installed components, as well as noise formation.
