The Bosch Rexroth DR10DP3-4X/75YMV (R900753678) is a high-performance direct operated pressure reducing valve designed for subplate mounting with porting patterns according to DIN Form D and ISO standards. This model is part of the component series X, capable of handling maximum operating pressures up to bar levels and facilitating maximum flow rates measured in liters per minute. The valve's primary function is to manage system pressure by limiting the secondary circuit through an adjustable setting. The DR10DP3-4X/75YMV valve features initial open position functionality, allowing hydraulic fluid to transition freely from channel B to channel A without obstruction. The secondary pressure is regulated via an adjustment mechanism, and the maintenance of a constant pressure level in channel A is achieved by a control spool that reacts to pressure changes against a compression spring. This system ensures that any external force increasing the pressure in channel A results in the control spool engaging further against the spring, connecting channel A to channel TY and permitting excess hydraulic fluid to discharge into the tank. This valve also includes internal signal and pilot oil supply from channel A through a control line, while leakage oil from the spring chamber is discharged externally through channel TY. An optional check valve can be installed for free flow return from channel A to channel B. Additionally, it features a pressure gauge connection for monitoring secondary pressure. Adjustment types available for this model include options such as a rotary knob, threaded pin with hexagon and protective cap, lockable rotary knob with scale, or rotary knob with scale—providing versatility for different application requirements. The valve type DR 10 DP is a direct operated pressure reducing valve in 3-way version, i. e. with pressure limitation of the secondary circuit.
It is used to limit a system pressure.
The secondary pressure is set via the adjustment type (1).
The valve is open in initial position. Hydraulic fluid can flow from channel B to channel A without restrictions. The pressure in channel A is simultaneously applied via the control line (4) at the piston area opposite the compression spring (3). If the pressure in channel A exceeds the value set at the compression spring (3), the control spool (2) moves to control position and keeps the set pressure in channel A at a constant level.
Signal and pilot oil are supplied internally via the control line (4) from channel A.
If the pressure in channel A increases further due to an external force effect at the actuator, it pushes the control spool (2) even further against the compression spring (3).
In this way, channel A is connected to channel T(Y) via the control edge (5) at the control spool (2). So much hydraulic fluid is discharged into the tank that the pressure can only increase slightly.
The leakage oil discharge from the spring chamber (6) is always effected externally via channel T(Y).
For the free flow back from channel A to channel B, a check valve (7) can optionally be installed.
A pressure gauge connection (8) allows for the control of the secondary pressure.
