The Bosch Rexroth KRD2L2AB/LV (R901082849) is a high-performance screw-in cartridge valve designed to provide precise pressure reducing functions in hydraulic systems. This direct operated 3-way pressure reducing valve is engineered for maximum operating pressures of up to 350 bar (5076 psi) and can accommodate a maximum flow of 30 l/min (7.9 gpm). The valve features a cavity in accordance with ISO 7368, ensuring compatibility with standardized mounting cavities. Equipped with FKM sealing material, the KRD2L2AB/LV is suitable for use with a variety of hydraulic fluids including HL, HLP, HEES, and HEPG. The normally open spool allows for free flow from the main port P to A in its initial position. Upon reaching the set pressure value at the adjustment type, which is facilitated by a threaded pin with hexagon and protective cap, the poppet-type closing element seals off the flow to maintain consistent pressure in part A regardless of fluctuations in P. This particular model does not come with pressure presetting and operates under a direct acting pilot principle. Due to its compact design and versatile functionality, it can be employed for simple pressure-reducing tasks without leakage or oil drain requirements. The valve's weight of approximately 0.6 kg makes it suitable for various applications where space and weight are considerations. The product belongs to Bosch Rexroth's KRD product family and falls under Productgroup ID numbers 4811/4812/4813/4814/4815. It is available in three different pressure ratings: 210, 280, and 350 bar, thus offering flexibility for different system requirements. The component series B designation indicates its place within Bosch Rexroth's product line-up as an established solution for efficient hydraulic control. With its robust construction and reliable performance characteristics, the Bosch Rexroth KRD2L2AB/LV valve stands as an essential component for those looking to achieve precise control over their hydraulic system pressures without sacrificing quality or dependability.
2-way pressure reducing valve, direct operated
Unpacked Weight: 0.7942 kg
General
The direct operated 2-way pressure reducing valve type KRD is designed as tight seat valve. It is used for the leakage-free pressure reduction of a working pressure.
It basically comprises the screw-in housing (1) with spring (6) and adjustment type (5) as well as spool (3), valve seat (2) and closing element (4).
Function
In the initial position, the valve seat is open. Hydraulic fluid can flow from the main port ① to ②. If the pressure in the main port increases ② to the pressure value set at the adjustment type (5), the closing element (4) closes the connection ① to ②. The increasing system pressure (main port ①) no longer influences the pressure in main port ② (pressure holding function). Pressure losses in the main port ② (actuator) will be compensated by the valve.

Important information on hydraulic fluids! For further information and data on the use of other hydraulic fluids, please refer to data sheet 90220 or contact us! There may be limitations regarding the technical valve data (temperature, pressure range, life cycle, maintenance intervals, etc.)! Flame-resistant – containing water: The maximum pressure differential per control edge is 175 bar. Otherwise, there is increased cavitation erosion.Tank pre-loading < 1 bar or > 20 % of the pressure differential. The pressure peaks should not exceed the maximum operating pressures! |
