The Sun Hydraulics CDACEBN (CDACEBN) is a dual check valve cartridge designed for hydraulic systems. This model combines two simple check valves into a single cartridge, efficiently connecting the higher of two work ports to a common or signal port. It includes an external load port located at the hex end of the cartridge, with the signal sensed at port 2. The CDACEBN features Sun Hydraulics' floating style construction, which minimizes internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. Engineered for durability and performance, the CDACEBN back-to-back check cartridges are equipped with hardened, spherically lapped, guided poppets and a lightly stressed helical spring. These components contribute to excellent wear characteristics and exceptionally low leakage rates, specified at a maximum of 5 drops per minute (0.3 cc/min) at 110 SUS (24 cSt). The valve does not facilitate lowering a signal but will trap a high signal if load pressures fall below this level; hence, some means of bleeding off the signal should be provided. This model is designed for use within systems operating up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and has a flow capacity of 2.5 gpm (10 L/min). It fits within a T13A cavity and is part of Sun's Series 1 line. The valve hex size is 7/8 in (22.2 mm), and it requires an installation torque between 30-35 lbf·ft (41-47 Nm). Weighing just 0.30 lb (0.15 kg), it also supports Viton seal kits under part number 990010006 for maintenance or replacement needs.

  • Back-to-back check cartridges feature hardened, spherically lapped, guided poppets and a lightly stressed helical spring that result in excellent wear characteristics and extremely low leakage rates.
  • The back-to-back checks do not provide a means of lowering a signal. They will trap a high signal if the load pressures drop to a lower pressure. Some means of bleeding off the signal should be provided.
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
