The Sun Hydraulics CKECLFN (CKECLFN) is a pilot-to-open check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring controlled flow and load-holding capabilities. This valve allows free flow from port 2 to load port 1 while blocking flow in the opposite direction. It operates with a sealed pilot to prevent cross-port leakage, making it ideal for applications where such leakage is undesirable. The Delrin seat of the valve makes it suitable for systems that are not exposed to high flows or temperatures but may contain some degree of contamination. With a pilot ratio of 3:1, the CKECLFN requires a pilot pressure at port 3 that is directly proportional to the load pressure at port 1, with backpressure at port 2 directly opposing this pilot pressure. The valve features extremely low leakage characteristics; however, if leakage occurs due to load drift, it typically indicates seat damage from contamination, necessitating valve replacement. This valve is a pilot to open check valve. It has a sealed pilot, a Delrin seat, and is non-vented. It allows free flow from the valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) and blocks flow in the opposite direction. Pressure at the pilot (port 3) will open the valve from port 1 to port 2. Pilot pressure needed at port 3 to open the valve is directly proportional to the load pressure at port 1. Pressure at port 2 directly opposes pilot pressure.

  • This 3 port pilot-to-open check valve and 3 port counterbalance valves are physically interchangeable (i.e. same cavities, same flow path for a given frame size). However, cartridge extension dimensions from the mounting surface may vary.
  • Provides hose break protection, prevents loads from drifting and positively locks pressurized loads.
  • Sealed pilot for use in circuits where cross port leakage is undesirable.
