The Sun Hydraulics CNDCLBV (CNDCLBV) is a versatile hydraulic check valve designed for high-pressure applications, capable of handling up to 5000 psi or 350 bar at ports 1 and 2. This model features a free flow from port 1 to port 2, while incorporating a customer-specified orifice to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1, enhancing control over fluid movement in hydraulic systems. The specified orifice diameter is conveniently stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces for easy identification. This valve is part of the T13A cavity series and can accommodate flow capacities up to 15 gpm or 60 L/min. It has an orifice range from .016 to .107 inches (0.4 to 2.7 mm), making it adaptable for various applications by changing the orifice size according to system requirements. The valve's construction includes Sun's floating style design which minimizes internal parts binding\u2014a common issue caused by excessive installation torque and/or cavity-cartridge machining variations. Additionally, the CNDCLBV model is available in corrosion-resistant variants designated by the suffix AP or LH, intended for use in corrosive environments, thus extending its usability across different industrial settings where durability and longevity are critical. The robust design and flexible configuration options make this model a reliable choice for ensuring efficient and safe hydraulic operations.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
