The Sun Hydraulics CNDCLCN (CNDCLCN) is a highly versatile check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, directional flow control. This model features a freeflow mechanism that allows fluid to move unimpeded from port 1 to port 2, while a customer-specified orifice restricts the flow in the reverse direction, from port 2 to port 1. The specific orifice diameter selected by the customer is clearly stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces for easy identification. Constructed to accommodate a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, the CNDCLCN valve is suitable for high-pressure environments. It has a flow capacity of up to 15 gpm (60 L/min) and an orifice range between .016 and .107 inches (0.4 to 2.7 mm), making it adaptable for various hydraulic flow requirements. The valve's cavity type is T13A and it belongs to Series 1. Sun Hydraulics has incorporated its floating style construction into this model, which minimizes potential internal parts binding caused by excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This design feature enhances the overall reliability and performance of the valve in demanding operational conditions. The CNDCLCN valve also comes with corrosion-resistant options identified by model code suffixes AP or LH, tailored for use in corrosive environments. For installation, it requires a hex size of 7/8 inches (22.2 mm) and an installation torque ranging from 30 to 35 lbf ft (41 to 47 Nm). The seal kit provided with this cartridge uses Viton components, ensuring durable sealing capabilities under various conditions. This product exemplifies Sun Hydraulics' commitment to high-quality, customizable hydraulic solutions designed for robust performance and versatility in industrial applications.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
