The Sun Hydraulics CNDCLEV (CNDCLEV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, directional flow control. This valve features a two-port design that supports free flow from port 1 to port 2, while a customer-specified orifice restricts flow in the reverse direction from port 2 to port 1. The specified orifice range for this model spans from 0.4 mm to 2.7 mm (.016 to .107 in.), allowing for customization based on specific system requirements. Constructed to handle maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and flow capacities up to 15 gpm (60 L/min), the CNDCLEV is suitable for robust applications. It fits within a T13A cavity and requires an installation torque between 30-35 lbf ft (41-47 Nm). The valve hex size is standardized at 7/8 in. (22.2 mm), ensuring compatibility with typical installation tools. Notably, this model incorporates Sun Hydraulics' floating style construction, which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding\u2014a common issue caused by excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This feature enhances the valve\u2019s operational reliability and longevity, particularly in demanding environments. For applications in corrosive settings, variants of this model are available with corrosion-resistant features indicated by specific model code suffixes AP or LH. These versions ensure extended service life and performance integrity when exposed to harsh chemicals or saline conditions. Overall, the Sun Hydraulics CNDCLEV check valve is an essential component for systems requiring precise fluid control with options for customization and adaptations for use in corrosive environments.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
