The Sun Hydraulics CNDCLZN (CNDCLZN) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring robust control and reliability. This model features a free-flow design from port 1 to port 2, complemented by a customer-specified bypass orifice that restricts flow in the reverse direction, from port 2 to port 1. The specified orifice diameter, crucial for precise flow control, is clearly stamped on one of the cartridge\u2019s hex faces for easy identification. Constructed to accommodate maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, the CNDCLZN ensures durability and performance under demanding conditions. Its capacity reaches up to 15 gpm (60 L/min), with an orifice range spanning from .016 to .107 inches (0.4 to 2.7 mm), providing versatility across various hydraulic applications. The valve's design incorporates Sun's floating style construction which minimizes internal parts binding\u2014a common issue caused by excessive installation torque or cavity/cartridge machining variations. This feature enhances the operational longevity and reliability of the valve in complex setups. For installation, the valve requires a hex size of 7/8 inches (22.2 mm) and an installation torque between 30 - 35 lbf ft (41 - 47 Nm). It is compatible with Viton seal kits (990010006), ensuring high resistance to heat and chemicals, thereby extending the maintenance intervals and reducing downtime. Overall, the Sun Hydraulics CNDCLZN check valve is an essential component for systems where high pressure and precise flow control are necessary, ensuring efficient operation across a wide range of industrial hydraulic applications.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
