The Sun Hydraulics CNDCXCV (CNDCXCV) is a high-performance hydraulic check valve designed for robust fluid control in various applications. This model features a unique free flow from port 1 to port 2 and includes a customer-specified orifice to control the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. The specified orifice diameter, which ranges from 0.016 to 0.107 inches (0.4 to 2.7 mm), is clearly stamped on one of the cartridge’s hex faces for easy identification. The CNDCXCV valve is capable of handling a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, ensuring reliable performance under high-pressure conditions. It has a flow capacity of up to 15 gpm (60 L/min), making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications requiring precise fluid control. Constructed with corrosion-resistant materials, this valve is particularly suited for use in environments where corrosion could be an issue. Its design incorporates Sun’s floating style construction which minimizes potential internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining, enhancing its durability and operational reliability. Additionally, the CNDCXCV fits into a T13A cavity and can be installed with a torque between 30 and 35 lbf·ft (41 - 47 Nm). The seal kit for this cartridge uses Viton components, ensuring excellent resistance against high temperatures and chemical degradation. This model's robust design and versatile specifications make it an ideal choice for those looking for efficient and reliable hydraulic flow control solutions in corrosive environments.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.

• Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
• Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
• Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
• The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
• Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
• Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
