The Sun Hydraulics CNEEXFV (CNEEXFV) is a pilot-to-open check valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring reliable load holding and controlled flow reversal. This valve facilitates free flow from port 2 to load port 1 while restricting flow in the opposite direction, ensuring efficient operation in various hydraulic applications. The valve's operation is influenced by the pressure at pilot port 3, which needs to be proportional to the load pressure at port 1 to initiate opening. Constructed with a sealed pilot and a steel seat, the CNEEXFV is non-vented, making it suitable for applications where cross-port leakage is undesirable. The valve's design includes a bypass orifice whose diameter can be specified by the customer, allowing customization based on specific system requirements. The specified orifice diameter is clearly stamped on one of the cartridge\u2019s hex faces for easy identification. For enhanced usability, models with a manual load release control option allow operators to manually release the load by turning the control clockwise. Sun Hydraulics has engineered this valve with floating style construction which minimizes potential internal parts binding that could occur due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This design consideration helps maintain valve integrity and performance over time. The CNEEXFV supports up to 30 gpm/120 L/min flow capacity and can operate under maximum pressures of 5000 psi/350 bar. It features a pilot ratio of 3:1 and accommodates an orifice range from .016 - .135 in (0.4 - 3.4 mm). The robust construction includes a Viton seal kit for enhanced durability against harsh conditions, ensuring reliable performance across various applications within its specifications.

This valve is a pilot to open check valve with a bypass orifice. It incorporates a sealed pilot, a steel seat, and is non-vented. It allows free flow from the valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) and restricts flow in the opposite direction. Pressure at the pilot (port 3) will open the valve from port 1 to port 2. The pilot pressure needed at port 3 to open the valve is directly proportional to the load pressure at port 1. Pressure at port 2 directly opposes the pilot pressure. Note: The bypass orifice diameter is specified by the customer. See Technical Data below for the allowable orifice range.

  • This 3 port pilot-to-open check valve and 3 port counterbalance valves are physically interchangeable (i.e. same cavities, same flow path for a given frame size). However, cartridge extension dimensions from the mounting surface may vary.
  • Sealed pilot for use in circuits where cross port leakage is undesirable.
  • The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
  • For models with manual load release control option, turn load release clockwise to release load.
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
