The Sun Hydraulics CNJCXBN (CNJCXBN) is a precision-engineered hydraulic check valve designed for high-pressure applications, accommodating up to 5000 psi or 350 bar at both ports 1 and 2. This valve features a customer-specified bypass orifice, allowing customization of flow restrictions from port 2 to port 1, with the orifice diameter clearly stamped on one of the cartridge\u2019s hex faces for easy identification. The CNJCXBN operates efficiently by permitting free flow from port 1 to port 2 while controlling reverse flow, making it ideal for systems requiring reliable unidirectional flow control. With a maximum capacity of 120 gpm (480 L/min), this valve is suitable for substantial hydraulic systems. The CNJCXBN uses Sun's floating style construction, which significantly reduces the risk of internal parts binding due to installation torque or cavity/cartridge machining variations. This design feature ensures long-term reliability and performance stability under varying operational conditions. The valve fits into a T18A cavity and is part of Sun Hydraulics' Series 4. It has an extensive orifice range from .016 to .354 inches (0.4 to 9 mm), providing flexibility in application according to system requirements. The robust construction includes options for corrosion-resistant configurations (noted by model code suffixes AP or LH), enhancing its suitability for use in corrosive environments. Installation specifications include a hex size of 1-5/8 inches (41.3 mm) and an installation torque ranging between 350 and 375 lbf ft (474 \u2013 508 Nm). For maintenance, it uses a Viton seal kit (990018006), ensuring durability and resistance against various fluids and temperatures within hydraulic systems. This valve\u2019s versatile design and construction make it an essential component for efficient hydraulic flow management in demanding industrial applications.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
