The Sun Hydraulics CNJCXBV (CNJCXBV) is a high-performance hydraulic check valve designed for robust fluid control applications. This model features a freeflow, nose-to-side configuration that allows unrestricted flow from port 1 to port 2, while a customer-specified bypass orifice restricts flow in the reverse direction, from port 2 to port 1. The specific orifice diameter can be tailored to meet individual system requirements and is clearly stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces for easy identification. Constructed to handle maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, the CNJCXBV is suitable for demanding environments where high pressure and flow are common. The valve's capacity reaches up to 120 gpm (480 L/min), ensuring efficient operation in large-scale hydraulic systems. It also incorporates Sun's innovative floating style construction which minimizes internal parts binding\u2014a common issue caused by excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This model uses Viton seals (990018006) for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for use in corrosive environments. The valve fits within a T18A cavity and requires an installation torque between 350 - 375 lbf\u00b7ft (474 - 508 Nm). With its robust design and customizable features, the CNJCXBV is an excellent choice for engineers looking to optimize their hydraulic systems while ensuring reliable and controlled fluid handling under various operating conditions.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
