The Sun Hydraulics CNJCXDN (CNJCXDN) is a versatile two-port check valve designed for high-pressure hydraulic applications, accommodating up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports. This model features a unique free-flow design from port 1 to port 2, while flow from port 2 to port 1 is regulated by a customer-specified orifice, allowing for precise control of flow reversal. The orifice range spans from .016 to .354 inches (0.4 to 9 mm), and the specific orifice diameter selected by the customer is conveniently stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces. The CNJCXDN utilizes Sun's innovative floating style construction which helps prevent internal parts binding that can occur due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This design ensures reliable operation and longevity of the valve even under demanding conditions. The valve fits in a T18A cavity and supports a maximum flow capacity of 120 gpm (480 L/min). Designed with corrosion resistance in mind, this model can be specified with AP or LH suffixes for enhanced durability in corrosive environments. Installation requires a torque between 350 and 375 lbf ft (474 - 508 Nm), and it uses Viton seals for superior sealing performance under varying temperature conditions. Ideal for applications requiring robust performance and precise flow control, the CNJCXDN is an excellent choice for professionals seeking efficient and reliable hydraulic system components.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
