The Sun Hydraulics CNJCXDV (CNJCXDV) is an advanced hydraulic check valve designed for high-pressure applications, capable of handling up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2. This model features a unique design that allows free flow from port 1 to port 2, while a customer-specified orifice restricts flow in the reverse direction, from port 2 to port 1. The specified orifice can range from .016 to .354 inches (0.4 to 9 mm), allowing customization based on specific hydraulic system requirements. The CNJCXDV valve is constructed using Sun's floating style design which reduces the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This construction enhances the reliability and performance of the valve in various operational conditions. The model also supports a high flow capacity up to 120 gpm (480 L/min), making it suitable for applications requiring substantial fluid management capabilities. This valve is part of Sun Hydraulics' T18A cavity series and uses Viton seals for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, particularly suitable for corrosive environments. Its robust construction and versatile design make it ideal for integration into complex hydraulic systems where precise fluid control and high pressure are necessary. The valve's hex size is 1 5/8 inches (41.3 mm), with an installation torque requirement between 350 - 375 lbf\u00b7ft (474 - 508 Nm), ensuring secure fitting and operational stability under high pressures.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves with a bypass orifice allow free flow from port 1 to port 2. A customer specified orifice is included to restrict flow from port 2 to port 1. See technical data below for orifice range.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Valves with the opposite flow path (free flow from 2 to 1) are considered flow controls and may be found listed as fixed orifice, non-pressure compensated flow control valve with reverse flow check.
- The customer specified orifice diameter is stamped on one of the cartridge's hex faces.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
