The Sun Hydraulics CODLXAN (CODLXAN) is a high-performance hydraulic valve designed for precision fluid control in various applications. This model, which utilizes the T11A cavity and belongs to Series 1, has been upgraded from the previous CODA model, ensuring no physical distinction from the CODL version. It features a nominal pilot ratio of 1.8:1, allowing it to close against a pressure of 1800 psi at port 1 when the pilot port is subjected to 1000 psi. The valve's design prevents reverse flow from port 2 to port 1 under any conditions and maintains closure with equal pressures at all ports. The CODLXAN incorporates Sun's floating style construction which minimizes internal parts binding that could result from excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining.
