The Sun Hydraulics CSAMXXN (CSAMXXN) is a high-performance hydraulic shuttle valve designed for robust industrial applications. This valve features a single ball shuttle mechanism that connects the higher of two work ports to the signal or common port, allowing for the decay of the pressure signal when both load ports drop to a lower pressure. It is specifically engineered to be integrated into a manifold or actuator, utilizing an insert style that should be carefully installed according to the T162DP cavity drawing specifications. Constructed with hardened steel balls and seats, the CSAMXXN offers excellent wear characteristics and contamination tolerance, ensuring reliable operation and longevity in demanding environments. The valve operates with a maximum capacity of 1.25 gpm (4.7 L/min) and can handle pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar). Its design incorporates Sun's floating style construction which minimizes internal parts binding that could occur due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. For maintenance ease, it features an internal hex size of 5/16 in. (8 mm) and requires an installation torque between 20 - 25 lbf ft (27 - 33 Nm).   • This valve is what we call an Insert style. It is meant to be buried in a manifold or actuator. The cavity drawing for the T-162DP cavity contains a lot of detailed information and should be studied closely when applying this valve.
