The Sun Hydraulics CVCEIEV (CVCEIEV) is a specialized hydraulic valve designed for specific, legacy support applications within hydraulic systems. This model is a 4-port, vented, pilot-to-open check valve that operates with a non-standard Sun cavity and an unusual port configuration. It's important to note that this particular model is not intended for new designs but rather serves as a replacement part for existing systems that originally incorporated this specific valve type. The CVCEIEV has a proportional pressure reducing feature which limits the pressure at port 1 to approximately 75% of the pressure at port 2, enhancing control over hydraulic pressure in connected systems. For operational adjustments, this valve includes options for manual load release control which can be managed by turning the load release clockwise. The valve\u2019s design facilitates a flow capacity up to 15 gallons per minute (approximately 60 liters per minute), suitable for moderate flow rate applications. This product fits into the T12A cavity and belongs to series 1 of its kind. It is specifically engineered to address service needs rather than being utilized in new system designs, where Sun Hydraulics recommends using newer models from the CVV family due to their updated features and compatibility with current hydraulic system requirements.

These 4 port, vented, pilot-to-open check valves predate the current design, CV*V. They use a non-standard, modified Sun cavity and a non-standard port configuration. They are not to be used for new designs.

  • These valves should be considered service items only. New applications should use valves from the CV*V family.
  • This valve has a proportional pressure reducing characteristic that limits the pressure developed at port 1 to about 75% of the pressure at port 2.
  • For models with manual load release control option, turn load release clockwise to release load.
