The Sun Hydraulics CXADXEN (CXADXEN) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model features a free flow from the inlet port 2 to the outlet port 1, while effectively blocking flow in the reverse direction. The CXADXEN is engineered for use in systems where manifold drillings may be incorrect, acting as a circuit saver by accommodating these discrepancies without the need for extensive reworking. This check valve operates with an impressive maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports and offers a flow capacity of up to 7.5 gpm (30 L/min). Its design incorporates Sun's floating style construction which minimizes potential internal part binding due to installation torque or machining variations of the cavity/cartridge. This feature ensures consistent performance and longevity even under stringent installation conditions. Furthermore, the CXADXEN is designed to provide exceptionally low leakage rates, with maximum leakage specified at less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), ensuring efficient system operation and reduced fluid loss. Available cracking pressures include 4, 30, and 75 psi (0.3, 2, and 5 bar), allowing for customization based on specific application requirements. The valve's robust design is complemented by its compact size and light weight, measuring only .20 lb (0.10 kg) and requiring an installation torque between 20 - 25 lbf ft (27 - 33 Nm). It also supports Viton seals for enhanced chemical resistance and durability under various operating conditions. With its high capacity and reliable performance characteristics, the CXADXEN is ideal for advanced hydraulic systems requiring precise flow control and minimal maintenance.

Free-flow, side-to-nose check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 2) to the outlet (port 1) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- These check valves are considered circuit savers for existing circuits where manifold drillings are incorrect. The capacity of side-to-nose (port 2 to port 1) 2-port check valves is approximately 30% less than preferred models with a nose-to-side (port 1 to port 2) flow path.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Only available with 4, 30 and 75 psi (0,3, 2 and 5 bar) cracking pressures.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
