The Sun Hydraulics CXBAXBV (CXBAXBV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model is particularly noted for its freeflow feature, which permits free flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while blocking reverse flow effectively. The CXBAXBV operates under a maximum pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports and is capable of handling flow rates up to 10 gpm (40 L/min). It showcases an exceptionally low leakage rate, less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), ensuring minimal fluid loss and efficient operation. Constructed with Sun Hydraulics' floating style design, the CXBAXBV valve minimizes internal parts misalignment that might otherwise occur due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This design enhances the durability and reliability of the valve under various operating conditions. The valve fits a T-16A cavity and requires an installation torque between 20 - 25 lbf.ft (27 - 33 Nm), with a hex size of 3/4 in. (19.1 mm). Weighing just 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), it is compact yet robust enough for demanding applications. The CXBAXBV is equipped with EPDM seals, making it suitable for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, it should not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids which could damage the seals. This specificity in seal compatibility ensures that users can match the valve accurately to their system\u2019s fluid type, avoiding potential seal degradation and system failure.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

  • Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
  • Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
  • Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
  • Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
