The Sun Hydraulics CXBAXZE (CXBAXZE) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic systems that require reliable one-way flow. This model is engineered to provide free flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2, while effectively blocking flow in the reverse direction. The CXBAXZE features a T-16A cavity and operates under a series 0 classification, ensuring compatibility with specific hydraulic setups. With a capacity of 10 gpm (40 L/min) and capable of handling a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar), this valve is suited for demanding applications. It offers exceptionally low leakage rates, less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which is crucial for maintaining system efficiency and preventing fluid loss. The valve's construction includes Sun Hydraulics' floating style design which minimizes internal part binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. For installation, the CXBAXZE requires a hex size of 3/4 in. (19.1 mm) and an installation torque between 20 - 25 lbf ft (27 - 33 Nm). It weighs only about 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), making it lightweight yet robust enough for both mobile and industrial applications. Notably, cartridges configured with EPDM seals are specifically designed for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, they must avoid exposure to petroleum-based fluids, greases, and lubricants as these can damage the seals. This model\u2019s reliability and precise engineering make it an essential component for systems where unidirectional flow and leakage control are critical.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

  • Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
  • Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
  • Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
  • Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
