The Sun Hydraulics CXCBXEV (CXCBXEV) is a high-performance hydraulic check valve designed for medium pressure systems that may contain dirty fluids. This valve features a Delrin seat, making it suitable for environments where the fluid might carry particulate matter, though it is not designed for high flow or temperature conditions. The CXCBXEV operates with a free flow from the inlet port 2 to the outlet port 1, while effectively blocking flow in the reverse direction, ensuring efficient one-way operation. This model is engineered using Sun's floating style construction which helps prevent internal parts from binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining, enhancing its reliability and operational lifespan. The valve supports a maximum operating pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar) and has a flow capacity of up to 15 gpm (60 L/min). It also boasts an exceptionally low leakage rate of less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), contributing to system efficiency and reducing fluid loss. With its compact design, the CXCBXEV weighs just 0.20 lb (0.10 kg) and requires an installation torque between 30 \u2013 35 lbf-ft (41 \u2013 47 Nm). The valve utilizes a Viton seal kit/cartridge, known for its chemical resistance and suitability in various hydraulic applications. Additionally, the check valve's hex size is 7/8 in. (22.2 mm), allowing for straightforward integration into existing hydraulic circuits without extensive modifications. This makes it particularly valuable as a circuit saver in systems where manifold drillings are incorrect or when retrofitting is necessary.

Free-flow, side-to-nose check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 2) to the outlet (port 1) and block flow in the opposite direction.

  • The Delrin seat is suitable for dirty, medium pressure systems that are not subjected to high flows or temperatures.
  • Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
  • These check valves are considered circuit savers for existing circuits where manifold drillings are incorrect. The capacity of side-to-nose (port 2 to port 1) 2-port check valves is approximately 30% less than preferred models with a nose-to-side (port 1 to port 2) flow path.
  • Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
