The Sun Hydraulics CXCDLBV (CXCDLBV) is a highly efficient check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model features a free flow from the inlet port 2 to the outlet port 1 while blocking the reverse flow, ensuring operational integrity in various hydraulic systems. The CXCDLBV is built with a T13A cavity and fits within the Series 1 frame size, suitable for a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) and can handle up to 15 gpm (60 L/min) of fluid capacity. Designed to address installation challenges, it incorporates Sun\u2019s floating style construction which minimizes potential internal part binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This design detail enhances durability and reliability of the valve under different installation conditions. Additionally, the CXCDLBV offers exceptional leakage control with a maximum valve leakage rate specified at less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), making it an ideal choice for systems where minimal fluid loss is critical. The check valve also supports easy maintenance and integration into existing systems, particularly where manifold drillings might be incorrect, acting as a circuit saver by maintaining system efficiency and safety without extensive modifications. With its compact model weight of approximately 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), it is easy to handle and install with an installation torque requirement between 30-35 lbf ft (41-47 Nm). The use of Viton seals ensures compatibility with a wide range of fluids and enhances its operational longevity in diverse environmental conditions.

Free-flow, side-to-nose check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 2) to the outlet (port 1) and block flow in the opposite direction.

  • Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
  • These check valves are considered circuit savers for existing circuits where manifold drillings are incorrect. The capacity of side-to-nose (port 2 to port 1) 2-port check valves is approximately 30% less than preferred models with a nose-to-side (port 1 to port 2) flow path.
  • Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
  • Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
