The Sun Hydraulics CXDAKAN (CXDAKAN) is a two-port, free-flow, nose-to-side check valve designed to facilitate unidirectional flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while blocking flow in the reverse direction. This model is particularly noted for its extremely low leakage rates, with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), ensuring efficient operation and minimal fluid loss. The CXDAKAN can withstand pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, making it suitable for high-pressure applications. This valve is compatible with EPDM seals specifically for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids, greases, and lubricants as they can cause damage. It features Sun Hydraulics’ floating style construction which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This model fits within a T13A cavity and has a capacity of 20 gpm (80 L/min). The valve's hex size is 7/8 in. (22.2 mm) and it requires an installation torque of 30 – 35 lbf·ft (41 – 47 Nm). The lightweight design of the valve (.20 lb or 0.10 kg) adds minimal weight to system assemblies. The CXDAKAN's robust and dirt-tolerant characteristics make it an ideal choice for various hydraulic applications where directional flow control and leakage prevention are critical. Its construction and capabilities ensure reliable performance even under stringent operating conditions.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

• Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
• Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
• Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
• Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
• Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
• Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
