The Sun Hydraulics CXDAKAV (CXDAKAV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring reliable, unidirectional flow control. This model operates effectively in environments with pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and can handle flow rates up to 20 gpm (80 L/min). The CXDAKAV is built to ensure minimal leakage, with a maximum rate of less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), making it ideal for applications where fluid conservation and system integrity are crucial. This valve features Sun Hydraulics' floating style construction which reduces the risk of internal parts binding due to installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining, enhancing durability and performance consistency. The CXDAKAV uses EPDM seals specifically designed for systems utilizing phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they can cause damage. The check valve's robust design includes a T13A cavity and requires an installation torque of 30-35 lbf\u00b7ft (41-47 Nm). It has a compact form factor with a weight of only 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), facilitating ease of installation in space-constrained environments. The model also adheres to stringent corrosion resistance standards, suitable for corrosive environments when configured with the appropriate model code suffix AP or LH. Overall, the Sun Hydraulics CXDAKAV check valve is an efficient solution for hydraulic systems requiring precise flow control and high reliability in challenging operational conditions.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
