The Sun Hydraulics CXDAKCV (CXDAKCV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model features a free-flow design that permits unimpeded flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2, while effectively blocking reverse flow. It is engineered to fit the T13A cavity and is part of Sun Hydraulics' Series 1 line, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of hydraulic systems. The CXDAKCV boasts an impressive maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) and can handle flow capacities up to 20 gpm (80 L/min), making it suitable for high-pressure applications. The valve exhibits exceptionally low leakage rates, less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which enhances system efficiency and minimizes fluid loss. This model also incorporates Sun's floating style construction which reduces the risk of internal parts binding due to installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. With a compact design, the valve weighs just 0.20 lb (0.10 kg) and requires an installation torque between 30 - 35 lbf\u00b7ft (41 - 47 Nm). It is equipped with Viton seals as standard, ensuring durability and compatibility with phosphate ester fluids; however, exposure to petroleum-based fluids should be avoided as it could damage the seals. Overall, the CXDAKCV check valve is an excellent choice for systems where non-return functionality and minimal leakage are critical, all within a robust and corrosion-resistant design suitable for challenging environments.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
