The Sun Hydraulics CXDAKEN (CXDAKEN) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model features a free flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2, with an absolute block on reverse flow, ensuring operational integrity and preventing potential damage due to backflow. The CXDAKEN is notable for its extremely low leakage rate, which is less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), making it an efficient choice for systems where fluid conservation and cleanliness are crucial. Constructed to handle maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, this valve can accommodate flows up to 20 gpm (80 L/min). It is engineered with a T13A cavity and adheres to Series 1 specifications. The valve's robust design includes Sun's floating style construction which minimizes internal part misalignment and binding, potentially caused by excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. Additionally, the CXDAKEN valve comes with Viton seals under the seal kit or cartridge number 990010006, specifically suitable for systems using phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they could degrade. For environments that are corrosive, variants of this model include suffixes AP or LH indicating corrosion-resistant configurations. With a compact model weight of only .20 lb (0.10 kg), installation and maintenance are straightforward, requiring a torque of between 30 – 35 lbf.ft (41 – 47 Nm). This model’s dimensional hex size stands at 7/8 in. (22.2 mm), ensuring compatibility with standard tools for installation and repairs.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
