The Sun Hydraulics CXDAKGV (CXDAKGV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model features a free-flow design that allows fluid to move seamlessly from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while completely blocking reverse flow, ensuring operational security and system integrity. It is engineered to fit a T13A cavity and belongs to Series 1, characterized by its robust performance in various hydraulic systems. The CXDAKGV is capable of handling a maximum operating pressure of up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and has a flow capacity of 20 gpm (80 L/min), making it suitable for high-pressure applications. The valve demonstrates exceptional leakage control, with maximum leakage maintained at less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which underscores its efficiency and precision in fluid control. Constructed with durability in mind, the CXDAKGV incorporates Sun's floating style construction which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding\u2014a common issue resulting from excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. The valve's hex size is 7/8 in. (22.2 mm), and it requires an installation torque between 30 - 35 lbf ft (41 - 47 Nm). Weighing only .20 lb (0.10 kg), this model is lightweight yet sturdy enough to withstand demanding conditions. For systems utilizing phosphate ester fluids, cartridges configured with EPDM seals are recommended; however, these should not be used with petroleum-based fluids as they can damage the seals. The CXDAKGV also comes with options for corrosion-resistant configurations marked by suffixes AP or LH for enhanced durability in corrosive environments. This makes the CXDAKGV an adaptable solution suited for various hydraulic applications where reliability and performance are paramount.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
