The Sun Hydraulics CXDAKZN (CXDAKZN) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, unidirectional flow control. This model operates effectively with a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) and a flow capacity of up to 20 gpm (80 L/min), ensuring robust performance in demanding settings. The CXDAKZN features an innovative free-flow, nose-to-side configuration which allows fluid to travel freely from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while blocking reverse flow, making it an essential component for systems where backflow prevention is critical. Constructed to minimize leakage, the CXDAKZN boasts an impressively low maximum valve leakage rate at less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which contributes significantly to system efficiency and fluid conservation. The valve's compatibility with EPDM seals makes it suitable for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, it should not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as this can damage the seals. Additionally, its floating style construction reduces the risk of internal parts binding\u2014a common issue caused by excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This model is specifically designed for T13A cavity installations and requires a hex size of 7/8 inches (22.2 mm) for valve installation, with a recommended torque of 30-35 lbf ft (41-47 Nm). Weighing just 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), the CXDAKZN is both lightweight and compact, facilitating ease of installation and maintenance without compromising on durability or functionality. With its robust construction and high specifications, the Sun Hydraulics CXDAKZN check valve is an ideal choice for ensuring efficient and reliable operation in hydraulic circuits across various applications.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
