The Sun Hydraulics CXDAKZV (CXDAKZV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications where prevention of backflow is critical. This model features a nosetoside configuration, facilitating free flow from inlet port 1 to outlet port 2 while blocking reverse flow, ensuring operational integrity and system safety. The CXDAKZV is capable of handling maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, making it suitable for high-pressure environments. Engineered with precision, the CXDAKZV offers exceptionally low leakage rates, less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which is crucial for maintaining system efficiency and preventing fluid loss. The valve's compatibility with EPDM seals makes it ideal for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they can cause damage. Additionally, the CXDAKZV incorporates Sun's floating style construction. This design feature minimizes the risk of internal parts binding which could result from excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining, thus enhancing reliability and lifespan of the valve. With a flow capacity of up to 20 gpm (80 L/min), this valve meets the requirements for various hydraulic circuits needing robust backflow prevention solutions. Overall, the Sun Hydraulics CXDAKZV check valve is an essential component for systems requiring precise fluid control with minimal leakage and high resistance to pressure. Its design and material options ensure it can be tailored to specific environmental conditions and fluid types, providing versatility across applications.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
