The Sun Hydraulics CXDALDE (CXDALDE) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model features a free-flow design that allows fluid to move seamlessly from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while preventing backflow effectively. The valve is suitable for systems with a flow capacity of up to 20 gpm (80 L/min) and can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar), ensuring robust performance under high-pressure conditions. The CXDALDE valve boasts an exceptionally low leakage rate, less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which contributes significantly to system efficiency and fluid conservation. It is engineered with Sun Hydraulics' floating style construction, reducing the risk of internal parts binding due to over-torquing during installation or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This model utilizes EPDM seals specifically designed for compatibility with phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they can cause damage. For environments prone to corrosion, variants of this model with AP or LH suffixes offer enhanced corrosion resistance. The CXDALDE check valve fits within a T-13A cavity and requires an installation torque between 30 – 35 lbf·ft (41 – 47 Nm). Its compact design results in a minimal weight of just .20 lb (0.10 kg), facilitating easy integration into various hydraulic circuits without significantly adding to the overall system mass.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
