The Sun Hydraulics CXDALEE (CXDALEE) is a high-performance, two-port check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model features a free flow from inlet port 1 to outlet port 2 while blocking flow in the reverse direction, ensuring operational integrity in fluid control systems. The CXDALEE is distinguished by its extremely low leakage rate, with a maximum of less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), making it ideal for applications where fluid conservation and system cleanliness are critical. Rated for up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, this valve can handle significant pressure levels, suitable for various industrial hydraulic systems. It is built to accommodate a flow capacity of up to 20 gpm (80 L/min), which supports a wide range of flow rates required in different operating conditions. The model’s construction includes Sun’s unique floating style design which minimizes potential internal binding that could result from excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. For environments involving corrosive substances, variants of the CXDALEE with the AP or LH suffixes offer enhanced corrosion resistance. Additionally, when configured with EPDM seals, this model is compatible with phosphate ester fluids; however, exposure to petroleum-based fluids should be avoided as it can damage the seals. The valve fits into a T13A cavity and requires an installation torque of between 30 – 35 lbf·ft (41 – 47 Nm). Its compact design results in a lightweight model weighing just 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), facilitating ease of installation and maintenance without compromising on durability or performance.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

• Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
• Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
• Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
• Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
• Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
• Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
