The Sun Hydraulics CXDALFE (CXDALFE) is a robust and efficient check valve designed for high-pressure hydraulic systems. This model is compatible with a T13A cavity and belongs to the Series 1 category, ensuring easy integration with standard hydraulic setups. The CXDALFE facilitates a maximum flow capacity of 20 gallons per minute (80 liters per minute), supporting substantial fluid movement within systems. It can withstand an operating pressure up to 5000 psi (350 bar), making it suitable for demanding applications. This valve features a direct-acting design, which is known for its quick response and reliability in preventing overpressure situations. It boasts an impressively low leakage rate of less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), highlighting its effectiveness in maintaining system integrity and reducing fluid loss. The installation of this model requires specific torque settings, ranging from 30-35 lbf ft (41-47 Nm), and it has a compact weight of just 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), which facilitates easy handling and installation. One of the unique aspects of the CXDALFE is its construction that incorporates Sun's floating style, aimed at minimizing internal part binding which could arise from excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This feature enhances the overall durability and reliability of the valve under various operational conditions. Additionally, cartridges configured with EPDM seals are specifically designed for use with phosphate ester fluids, ensuring compatibility and longevity when used within specified fluid environments. Overall, the Sun Hydraulics CXDALFE check valve stands out for its high capacity, low leakage rate, and durable construction, making it an excellent choice for high-pressure applications requiring reliable one-way flow control.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

  • Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
  • Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
  • Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
  • Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
  • Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
