The Sun Hydraulics CXDALFN (CXDALFN) is a robust hydraulic check valve designed to ensure reliable one-way fluid flow in hydraulic systems. This valve allows free flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while blocking flow in the opposite direction, making it an essential component for systems requiring unidirectional flow. The CXDALFN is built to handle maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and has a flow capacity of up to 20 gpm (80 L/min), which suits it for various high-pressure applications. Notably, this model features extremely low leakage rates, less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), thereby maximizing system efficiency and reducing fluid loss. The valve is equipped with EPDM seals specifically for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they can cause damage. The CXDALFN incorporates Sun Hydraulics' floating style construction which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding\u2014a common issue that can arise from excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This design feature enhances the durability and reliability of the valve under varied operational conditions. Additionally, the cartridge is corrosion-resistant, suitable for use in corrosive environments when configured with AP or LH model code suffixes. With a compact weight of only 0.20 lb (0.10 kg) and designed for easy installation with a hex size of 7/8 in (22.2 mm), this valve ensures a user-friendly setup with an installation torque between 30 - 35 lbf ft (41 - 47 Nm). The Sun Hydraulics CXDALFN is an efficient solution tailored for high-pressure applications where leakage minimization and reliable check functionality are critical.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
