The Sun Hydraulics CXDALGE (CXDALGE) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable one-way flow and minimal leakage. The CXDALGE model, crafted to handle a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports 1 and 2, is particularly suited for systems where high pressure must be maintained consistently. It features a maximum flow capacity of 20 gpm (80 L/min), ensuring efficient fluid movement within hydraulic circuits. This valve is distinguished by its extremely low leakage rate, less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which is critical in maintaining system integrity and performance. The construction of the CXDALGE incorporates Sun's floating style design, which reduces the risk of internal parts binding—a common issue in valves due to improper installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. For environments involving corrosive substances, the CXDALGE can be configured with EPDM seals suitable for phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they can cause damage. The model also supports various configurations marked by the suffix AP or LH for enhanced corrosion resistance. The physical specifications include a hex size of 7/8 in. (22.2 mm) and an installation torque range of 30 – 35 lbf ft (41 – 47 Nm), making it adaptable to standard setups in hydraulic systems. Weighing only 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), this check valve is lightweight yet robust enough to support demanding applications across different hydraulic setups without compromising on reliability or performance.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

• Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
• Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
• Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
• Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
• Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
• Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
