The Sun Hydraulics CXDALGN (CXDALGN) is a highly efficient check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable one-way flow and minimal leakage. This model is part of the T13A cavity series, offering a maximum flow capacity of 20 gpm (80 L/min) and can withstand pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar). The CXDALGN features a two-port configuration with free flow from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2, ensuring that backflow is effectively blocked. One of the standout features of this valve is its exceptional leak resistance, with a maximum leakage rate of less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), making it ideal for systems where fluid conservation and cleanliness are paramount. The valve's robust construction includes EPDM seals specifically designed for use with phosphate ester fluids, although these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids which can cause damage. Additionally, the CXDALGN incorporates Sun Hydraulics' floating style construction which reduces the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This feature enhances both reliability and performance longevity. With a hex size of 7/8 in. (22.2 mm) and an installation torque requirement between 30 – 35 lbf·ft (41 – 47 Nm), this model ensures easy installation while maintaining a compact and lightweight design at just .20 lb (0.10 kg). The CXDALGN is particularly suited for applications that demand high durability and corrosion resistance in challenging environments.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

• Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
• Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
• Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
• Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
• Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
• Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
