The Sun Hydraulics CXDALZE (CXDALZE) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring reliable, unidirectional flow control. This model is particularly effective in applications where free flow from the inlet port (port 1) to the outlet port (port 2) needs to be facilitated, while simultaneously blocking flow in the reverse direction. The CXDALZE check valve is compatible with a T13A cavity and adheres to Series 1 specifications, ensuring a standardized fit across similar systems. With a maximum operating pressure capability of 5000 psi (350 bar) and a capacity to handle up to 20 gpm (80 L/min), this valve is suitable for high-pressure environments. One of its standout features is its exceptionally low leakage rate, which does not exceed 1 drop per minute or 0.07 cc/min, thereby ensuring minimal fluid loss and enhanced system efficiency. The valve's construction includes EPDM seals, making it suitable for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, exposure to petroleum-based fluids should be avoided as it can damage the seals. The CXDALZE model also incorporates Sun's floating style construction which minimizes potential internal binding that could result from excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This feature contributes to the valve's robust performance and reliability in various operational conditions. Its compact design weighs only 0.20 lb (0.10 kg), and the dimensions include a hex size of 7/8 in. (22.2 mm). Installation requires a torque between 30 - 35 lbf ft (41 - 47 Nm), ensuring secure placement and optimal function within hydraulic circuits.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.

  • Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
  • Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
  • Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
  • Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
  • Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
  • Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
