The Sun Hydraulics CXDAXBV (CXDAXBV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. It features a free-flow design that allows fluid to move freely from the inlet port 1 to the outlet port 2 while preventing flow in the reverse direction. This valve is particularly noted for its extremely low leakage rate, with a maximum of less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), ensuring efficient operation and minimal fluid loss. Constructed to handle a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, the CXDAXBV is suitable for high-pressure systems. The valve is available with EPDM seals specifically for use with phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals must not be exposed to petroleum-based fluids as they can cause damage. For environments prone to corrosion, variants of this model include corrosion-resistant options denoted by the suffix AP or LH in the model code. Another key feature of this valve is its incorporation of Sun's floating style construction which minimizes potential internal parts binding that can occur due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. This construction enhances the durability and reliability of the valve under various installation conditions. The CXDAXBV has a capacity of 20 gpm (80 L/min) and features a compact design with a weight of just 0.20 lb (0.10 kg). It requires an installation torque between 30 - 35 lbf.ft (41 - 47 Nm) and fits within a T13A cavity. This model is part of Sun Hydraulics' Series 1 and can be equipped with Viton seal kits for different fluid compatibility requirements, ensuring versatility across multiple hydraulic applications.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
