The Sun Hydraulics CXJAXGV (CXJAXGV) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic applications requiring reliable, one-way flow control. This model is part of Sun Hydraulics' Series 4 and fits the T18A cavity specification, ensuring easy integration into various hydraulic systems. The CXJAXGV valve facilitates a free flow from its inlet port 1 to outlet port 2 while securely blocking any reverse flow, making it an essential component for systems where unidirectional flow is critical. The valve boasts an impressive capacity of up to 160 gpm (610 L/min) and can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar), making it suitable for high-pressure applications. It features extremely low leakage rates, with a maximum of less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which is crucial for maintaining system efficiency and preventing fluid loss. The CXJAXGV is constructed using corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring durability and long service life even in corrosive environments. This model incorporates Sun's floating style construction which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or variations in cavity/cartridge machining. It also has specific requirements for seal compatibility; cartridges configured with EPDM seals are recommended for use with phosphate ester fluids but should avoid exposure to petroleum-based fluids which could damage the seals. With a hex size of 1 5/8 inches (41.3 mm) and an installation torque range between 350 - 375 lbf.ft (474 - 508 Nm), the CXJAXGV ensures robust performance and ease of installation in diverse hydraulic setups. Weighing at approximately 2.10 lbs (0.95 kg), it combines lightweight design with strong build quality, offering an effective solution for enhancing hydraulic system reliability and functionality.

Free-flow, nose-to-side check valves are on/off circuit components that allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) and block flow in the opposite direction.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Cartridges configured with EPDM seals are for use in systems with phosphate ester fluids. Exposure to petroleum based fluids, greases and lubricants will damage the seals.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
