The Sun Hydraulics DKDPCWN (DKDPCWN) is a high-performance hydraulic valve designed for precise control in fluid power applications. This normally closed, balanced poppet valve operates as a switching element that shifts to an open position when pilot pressure at port 3 reaches a pre-set level determined by the integral pilot relief stage. It features unique balanced construction that ensures predictable switching and supports up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both port 1 and port 2. The valve maintains very low leakage rates, typically less than 10 drops/min at 5000 psi (0.7 cc/min at 350 bar), between port 1 and port 2, ensuring efficient operation and minimal fluid loss. All ports on the DKDPCWN can accommodate pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar), and any backpressure at the drain port directly adds to the valve setting, enhancing its functionality under various pressure conditions. Designed with Sun's floating style construction, the DKDPCWN minimizes potential internal parts binding caused by excessive installation torque or cavity/cartridge machining variations, thus improving reliability and lifespan. The valve will automatically reseat when pilot pressure drops to 85% of the cracking value, providing a secure closure mechanism. This valve is encapsulated in a T21A cavity with a series designation of '1' and has a flow capacity of up to 15 gpm (60 L/min). It requires a minimum pilot pressure of 400 psi (28 bar) to shift, showcasing its robustness in demanding operational conditions. The DKDPCWN is ideal for applications requiring precise hydraulic flow control where reliability and high-pressure performance are critical.

This is a normally closed, balanced poppet, switching element. When pilot pressure is applied to port 3, the poppet remains closed until the pilot pressure reaches the setting established by the integral pilot relief stage, at which point the poppet shifts to the open position.
- Unique balanced construction provides predictable switching with 5000 psi (350 bar) at both port 1 and port 2. When the remote pressure signal at port 3 exceeds the internal valve setting, the valve shifts to the open position.
- Any backpressure at the drain port is directly additive to the valve setting.
- Valve will reseat when the pilot pressure falls to 85% of the cracking value.
- Port 1 and port 2 are fully sealed from port 3 and port 4. Ports 3 and 4 are positively sealed.
- Leakage rate between port 1 and port 2 is very low, typically less than 10 drops/min. at 5000 psi (0,7 cc/min at 350 bar).
- All ports will accept 5000 psi (350 bar).
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
