The Sun Hydraulics DKFPCWN (DKFPCWN) is a high-performance hydraulic valve designed for precise control in fluid power applications. This normally closed, balanced poppet switching element operates efficiently under a maximum pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar), suitable for both port 1 and port 2. It features a unique balanced construction that ensures predictable switching and stable performance throughout its use. The valve shifts to the open position when the pilot pressure at port 3 exceeds the preset internal valve setting, facilitated by an integral pilot relief stage. This allows for controlled operation and reliable response under varying pressure conditions. The design also includes Sun's floating style construction which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or cavity/cartridge machining variations. Additionally, the DKFPCWN valve ensures very low leakage between port 1 and port 2, typically less than 10 drops/min at 5000 psi, which is crucial for maintaining system efficiency and performance. It supports a flow capacity of up to 30 gpm (120 L/min) and requires a minimum pilot pressure of 300 psi (20 bar) to shift the valve. All ports are capable of accepting pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar), making this valve highly versatile for various hydraulic systems. The robust construction includes Viton seals ensuring durability and resistance against different fluids and environmental conditions. Installation specifications include a valve hex size of 1-1/8 in (28.6 mm) and an installation torque range of 45 - 50 lbf\u00b7ft (61 - 68 Nm), which facilitates easy installation while maintaining operational integrity and reliability across various applications.

This is a normally closed, balanced poppet, switching element. When pilot pressure is applied to port 3, the poppet remains closed until the pilot pressure reaches the setting established by the integral pilot relief stage, at which point the poppet shifts to the open position.
- Unique balanced construction provides predictable switching with 5000 psi (350 bar) at both port 1 and port 2. When the remote pressure signal at port 3 exceeds the internal valve setting, the valve shifts to the open position.
- Any backpressure at the drain port is directly additive to the valve setting.
- Valve will reseat when the pilot pressure falls to 85% of the cracking value.
- Port 1 and port 2 are fully sealed from port 3 and port 4. Ports 3 and 4 are positively sealed.
- Leakage rate between port 1 and port 2 is very low, typically less than 10 drops/min. at 5000 psi (0,7 cc/min at 350 bar).
- All ports will accept 5000 psi (350 bar).
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
