The Sun Hydraulics DKHPLWN (DKHPLWN) is a high-performance hydraulic valve designed for precise control in fluid power applications. This normally closed, balanced poppet switching element operates efficiently with a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) and a capacity of 60 gpm (240 L/min). The valve features an integral pilot relief stage, which allows the poppet to shift to the open position once pilot pressure at port 3 surpasses a pre-set threshold. This model ensures minimal leakage, typically less than 10 drops per minute at 5000 psi, thanks to its unique balanced construction which also prevents internal parts binding due to installation torque or cavity/cartridge machining variations. It incorporates Sun\u2019s floating style construction enhancing its operational reliability and durability. The DKHPLWN is equipped with four ports; ports 1 and 2 are fully sealed against ports 3 and 4, ensuring no cross-port contamination. The valve's design also accounts for any backpressure at the drain port being directly additive to the valve setting, thereby maintaining consistent performance. This is a normally closed, balanced poppet, switching element. When pilot pressure is applied to port 3, the poppet remains closed until the pilot pressure reaches the setting established by the integral pilot relief stage, at which point the poppet shifts to the open position.

  • Unique balanced construction provides predictable switching with 5000 psi (350 bar) at both port 1 and port 2. When the remote pressure signal at port 3 exceeds the internal valve setting, the valve shifts to the open position.
  • Any backpressure at the drain port is directly additive to the valve setting.
  • Valve will reseat when the pilot pressure falls to 85% of the cracking value.
  • Port 1 and port 2 are fully sealed from port 3 and port 4. Ports 3 and 4 are positively sealed.
