The Sun Hydraulics DMDATBN214N (DMDATBN214N) is a high-performance, solenoid-operated 3-way, 2-position cartridge valve. This direct-acting, balanced spool directional valve is designed to handle a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar) and a capacity of up to 12 gpm (45 L/min). It features closed transitions between positions B and R, enhancing performance by ensuring faster and more consistent response times particularly in applications where capacity is less critical. The DMDATBN214N is engineered for robustness with a fatigue-rated solenoid tube assembly suitable for demanding applications. It requires no minimum hydraulic pressure to operate, making it versatile for various hydraulic systems. The manual override options available with this model are intended for temporary actuation; specifically, the detent mechanism in the D or L control has a mechanical life expectancy of about 7,000 cycles.
