The Sun Hydraulics DMDAXBV612 (DMDAXBV612) is a high-performance solenoid-operated 3-way, 2-position cartridge valve. This direct-acting, balanced spool directional valve is designed to efficiently control the direction of fluid flow in hydraulic systems. It features a fatigue-rated solenoid tube assembly suitable for up to 5000 psi (350 bar) service, ensuring reliable operation under high-pressure conditions. The valve's spools, B and R, are closed during the transition between positions which enhances performance by providing faster and more consistent response times especially in applications where capacity is not a primary concern. The DMDAXBV612 requires no minimum hydraulic pressure for operation, making it versatile for various low-pressure applications. The manual control assembly has an estimated mechanical life of approximately 7,000 cycles.
