The Sun Hydraulics DMDMTRN (DMDMTRN) is a manually operated, 2-position, 3-way directional cartridge valve designed primarily for intermittent use as a manual override within hydraulic circuits. Featuring Sun's TwistLock manual override mechanism, the DMDMTRN valve offers reliable control over the flow direction with a mechanical life expectancy of approximately 7,000 cycles. This direct-acting, balanced spool valve is engineered to provide precise operation through its various control options. The momentary-twist control (option T) allows for temporary shifting of the valve by twisting the knob clockwise; upon release, the valve automatically returns to its default position. For more sustained shift positions without load holding, the detent-lock control (option L) enables the operator to lock the valve in a chosen position by twisting the knob counterclockwise until further adjustment. The dual-operation control (option D) combines both functionalities, offering flexibility depending on operational needs.
