The Sun Hydraulics DNCADSV612 (DNCADSV612) is a high-performance, solenoid-operated, 4-way, 2-position cartridge valve that features a direct-acting, balanced spool with closed transition between positions. This design significantly minimizes the loss of oil during shifting, which is especially beneficial in pilot control circuits where maintaining hydraulic integrity is crucial. The valve operates with a capacity based on port 3 as the inlet and port 1 as the tank outlet. While reverse flow through the valve is possible, it is not recommended as optimal performance cannot be assured under such conditions. The DNCADSV612 valve's solenoid tube assembly is fatigue rated for service at pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar), ensuring durability and reliability even under extreme operating conditions. It does not require any minimum hydraulic pressure for operation due to its direct actuation mechanism. The cartridge uses EPDM seals designed specifically for systems utilizing phosphate ester fluids; however, these seals are susceptible to damage if exposed to petroleum-based fluids.
