The Sun Hydraulics DNDCXTN223 (DNDCXTN223) is a direct acting, solenoid-operated, 4-way, 3-position spool valve that is spring-centered to a neutral position. This versatile valve allows precise control of hydraulic flow in various applications. When coil A is energized, the flow transitions from port 3 (P) to port 2 (A) and from port 4 (B) to port 1 (T). Conversely, energizing coil B redirects the flow from port 3 to port 4 and from port 2 to port 1. The solenoid tube assembly is fatigue-rated for service up to 5000 psi (350 bar), ensuring durability under high-pressure conditions. This valve operates without requiring any minimum hydraulic pressure due to its direct actuation design. In differential flow circuits, it is recommended that higher return flows be routed through port 2 (A) to port 1 (T). The valve features EPDM seals suitable for systems using phosphate ester fluids; however, these are incompatible with petroleum-based fluids.
